Pqv2i.sys

今天在我自己的電腦上，出現了 BSOD（Blue Screen Of Death，藍天白雲）的狀況，連分析都不用，因為上頭就清楚地寫著是因為 Pqv2i.sys 造成的。

　　但，出狀況的電腦是我自己最近很少用的桌上型，PQV2I.SYS 是幹啥用的啊？在拜過 Google 大神後，在 M$ 的知識庫裡找到了答案（網址點這裡）。我引用一下 M$ 的解答如下：

發生的原因
某些版本的 Pqv2i.sys 驅動程式會發生這個問題。Pqv2i.sys 驅動程式隨附於 Symantec 的 V2i Protector 2.0 程式。

Situation:
After installing V2i Protector 2.0 or Drive Image 7.0, one of the following occurs:
-- The computer stops at a blue screen when rebooted
-- The computer encounters a stop error with KMODE Exception when rebooted

Solution:
This problem has been resolved in a driver update that is available for both Drive Image 7.0 and V2i Protector 2.0.

Note: For part of the process, it may be necessary for you to use another computer.

To resolve the problem
1. Download the file pqv2isysdriver.zip and save it to your desktop.

2. Although the file name indicates that the patch is for V2i Protector, it is also applicable to Drive Image 7.0.

3. Extract the file into a new directory.
When prompted for a password, type the following:
pqv2isysdriver

4. Depending upon how you can start your computer, follow the instructions in the appropriate section.

　　搞了半天，原來是這個 PQV2I.SYS 版本太舊了，上 Symantec 下載新的蓋過去就成了，搞得這麼複雜，這次得記下來，萬一下次再發生，就可以拿來做參考了。
